Melbourne International Tap Festival NEWS

Schedule Changes, Opening Party & Reminders

Hi Everyone,
Time to say goodbye to Winter! The countdown has started for the festival and we are working hard to bring you a huge festival - pre festival performances will be starting shortly at Shopping Centres throughout Melbourne and Flinders St Station - keep an eye on the events page for details.
"Welcome home to Rachel Cusack, Jess Cram, Thomas Wadelton and Winston Morrison of the Swift Rhythm Hoofers and Shane Preston who have returned from USA and taken part in the New York, Chicago and LA Tap festivals. Well done and welcome back!!"

Onto some festival business: Due to unforseen circumstances there have been a couple of changes to the schedule: Kids Intermediate on 16/10 at 1045 is now with Melita Sammut, Adult Advanced on 17/10 at 1200 is now with Jason Samuels Smith, Kids Advanced on 18/10 at 0930 is now with Chris Horsey. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Another small change due to public demand - we have joined the shows to give you one big awe inspiring show at a discounted cost - available Friday 17th October & Saturday 18th October at 730pm.

The Opening Party of the Festival will take place at Ministry of Dance on Wednesday 15th October - all welcome! More details listed under Events on Website. Bring your shoes for jamming opportunities with Jason & Chloe. Closing Party will take place on Monday 20th October - details coming soon!
Just remember if you purchase your tickets before the festival you receive a 20% discount voucher from our sponsor Capezio for their products, redeemable at the workshop sales stand or by mail order.
