The Saturday night show is selling quickly but there are
still some great seats available on the Friday night. The
show is set to be a tap extravaganza that will showcase the
best Australian Tap Dancing Talents followed by a
celebration of the African spirit that is the heartbeat of
tap dance; featuring the hottest line up of African drum,
song, dance and tap performers ever assembled in Australia.
Including international guests Jason Samuels Smith & Chloe
Arnold.
Don't forget our kind sponsor Capezio have announced prizes
for the two main shows at the National Theatre - everyone
who purchases a ticket goes into the draw to win a $200
voucher for Capezio products. The winners will be announced
at the Friday and Saturday night show.
We encourage beginners to try some beginner classes at the
festival – if you don't have shoes – don't worry we will
have some available for you to try or just bring some comfy
shoes.
The Opening Night Jam is booked for Ministry of Dance on

Don't forget about our partner the Song Room

no longer wearing please bring with you to donate them to
the program we are setting up to take tap dancing to
children from low socio-economic communities and educate
these kids in the artform we so love.

AMERICAN THEATRE OF ACTORS
314 W. 54th Street (54th & 8th Avenue)

Experience art that defies musical and theatrical classification. With blends of urban and traditional music styles, Constructing a Masterpiece channels the exuberance and diversity of New York City's multicultural landscape. "A young Duke Ellington of our times, William B. Johnson composes/arranges with an unrivaled command of musical experimentation and alternative instrumentation. The way Ellington used the piano, Johnson allows his virtuosity as a percussionist to lead his ensemble in a performance of un-categorical compositions." Johnson successfully combines horns, strings, side bass drums and traditional African instruments with the buckets in a cohesive ensemble that appeals to listeners from Blue Grass to World Beat.

Do you know a child K-12 that would like to take some dance or voice
lessons? Through Upstate Dance & Arts Center, free lessons will be
offered into the month of December. These classes will aim toward a
holiday performance in December.

All classes will be held on the weekends throughout the months of

purely an extra activity for anyone interested.

will be funded by donation & sponsors and will be free of charge to
the public and all proceeds will go to local charities.

If you know of any child that would like to participate, we would love
to have them. Also, if you know of anyone that would like to
volunteer, donate, or sponsor, we would love the help. Please contact
us as soon as possible.

We will hold our General Interest Meeting on Sunday, October 5th at
