Dancers Responding to AIDS Health

Hello everyone,

This is very useful information for you and every dancer you know
especially in this day of increased costs for health insurance. Our
goal at DRA is to be available to all working performers nationwide.
We are able to do this with your unwavering support. What we do
together really does make a difference.

Better Wellness and You (B'WAY) and The Actors Fund are sponsoring a
free health fair and flu shot clinic for all entertainment
professionals. The health fair and clinic will be held on Tuesday,
November 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Actors' Equity Association,
165 West 46th Street in New York.

In addition to the free flu vaccinations, the health fair will offer
blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes screenings, information on
health insurance, nutrition, and bodywork, and free mammograms for
uninsured women aged 40 and over (pre-registration required for
mammograms, call the Women's Outreach Network at 800.564.6868 for
information and to schedule an appointment).

No reservations for the Health Fair are required. Please arrive early
enough to participate as some services may be offered on a limited
basis. Program and services are subject to change. For information on
the health fair, call The Al Hirschfeld Free Clinic at 212.489.1939.
