R.Ed.I. Foundation Seeks Young Performers
We are looking for young performers aged 15-25 to perform for The R.Ed.I. (REACH - EDUCATE - INSPIRE) Arts and Education Foundation non-for-profit organization. The show addresses self-esteem, violence, substance abuse, peer pressure, internet threats, bullying and making the next best choice.

Date: Saturday, January 24
Time: By appointment : Call Trish @ 630-879-0244 before Friday, January 23, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. to schedule an audition appt.
Audition Location: Chicago Academy for the Arts 1010 W. Chicago Avenue
Pay: Per performance
Type / Restrictions: We are looking for young performers 15-25 with a strong stage presence who can sing/dance/act. The show addresses issues such as prejudice, substance abuse, violence, peer pressure and more. Ultimately, the group will travel to schools, organizations, and youth groups to promote making the next best choice. Time Commitment: Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons starting January 25th required with possible added rehearsals and performances during the week.
Material to Prepare: Please bring a headshot and a resume. Prepare a dramatic monologue and/or 16 bars of a ballad and up-tempo song. There will be no accompanist! Auditionees will also learn a dance combination. Also be prepared to tell us a dramatic or comedic story about yourself.
