Tap Into A Cure August 13th through the 17th

Thank you from Tap Into A Cure.. your response is overhelming!
First we have to thanks our friends at the ADEA, The Alberta Dance Educator's Association, Blazing Rhythms and the PCDAA, Pure Class Dance Arts Association for their generous donations to the workshop, and The Africa Project.
We also have to say a great big thank you to our very good friends Mario Salazar at Renomax and Justin Lemery at Hardwood Flooring Depot for their very generous donation of a beautiful Maple mobile Tap floor, it will get it's debut on August 14th at the Tap Jam, we will have none other than Jason Samuels Smith break it in!
In just 35 days Edmonton will play host to Canada's premiere dance event this year. The response has been amazing! Tap faculty Bril Barrett, Chloe Arnold and Sarah Reich will be joined by Emmy award winning Jason Samuels Smith, promising a 3 day workshop that will get your heart beating, your feet tappin' and the rhythm stirring in your soul! There has never been anything like this in Alberta because if those four weren't enough joining them is the amazing Steffan renown hip hop artist "Mr. Wiggles". Class sizes are limited and are filling fast!

Also don't forget the faculty will join a cast of incredible talent August 17th, 7 pm at Festival Place in Sherwood Park for the Magical Rhythms Showcase and Silent Auction. Some of our friends joining the faculty are Jazz singer Anna Beaumont, Jazz musicians extraordinare The Marc Beaudin Trio, Edmonton's amazing Blue Eye Soul, Hip Hop's jaw dropping dance group White Chocolate, the winner of Capital Ex's 2008 Northern Talent Search and many more. We have some incredible items in our silent auction: a signed first edition book by Norman Mailer, "A Castle in the Woods". An autograph and picture of tap dancing legend Peg Leg Bates, an autograhed picture of the amazing Gregory Hines, a signed limited edition print of Tupac Shakur and there's plenty more, and the best part of all is we are doing it all for our friends at The Hope Mission and The Africa Project, it is all for charity !
