TRADITION IN TAP's Upcoming Workshop!

The upcoming workshop in the 'Tradition In Tap - Series'
will be
dedicated to the work of 'Hollywood Tap Star' Ms. Miriam
Nelson.

The workshop is scheduled to take place in New York City on
the
weekend of November 9-11 2007.

This workshop will feature original choreography taught by
the master
herself - Ms. Miriam Nelson, and honorary Tap Master
Classes by
leading tap artists: Ofer Ben, Karen Callaway Williams,
Debbi Dee,
Rusty Frank, Ray Hesselink, Melba Huber, Avi Miller,
Germaine
Salsberg, Prof. Hank Smith, Shea Sullivan & Dianne "Lady
Di" Walker.

The workshop is sponsored in part by New York City
Department of
Cultural Affairs & Dance Spirit / Dance Teacher Magazines,
and will
take place at Nola Studios in midtown Manhattan.

The Participants Showcase will take place on Saturday Nov.
10, at The
Theatre at St. Peter's Church, Citigroup Center. See the

The workshop includes:

- Three days of intensive tap experience.

- Original Choreography created and taught by the 'Master'
herself.

- Honorary Master Classes by leading tap artists.

- Participants Showcase.

- Tradition In Tap - Award Presentation.

- Tap History Talks.

- Video Presentation.

- Tap Technique.

- 'Dance Teacher Recognizes' certificate (For Teachers
Only).


The workshop consists of:

- Two separate adult programs for intermediate, advanced
and
professional levels.

- Youth program for tappers age 10-13, exposing them to
the genius of
the masters.

Tradition In Tap is proud to announce an expanded
scholarship program,
so that more aspiring tap dancers may attend The Miriam
Nelson Tap
Experience.

Scholarships are made possible by funds granted by, New
York City
Department of Cultural Affairs, 'Sponsor A Tap Dancer'
program &
Tradition In Tap - Advisory Committee. Please refer to the

If you are interested in becoming a personal sponsor to a
tap dancer
in need, join our 'Sponsor A Tap Dancer' program and
provide
additional dancers with the partial or full tuition for a
workshop in
the Tradition In Tap Series.
