Stop by for a behind-the-scenes look at dance, compelling for its exposure to the possibilities of the body, the activation of the mind, the vulnerability and power of the spirit. Watch as DanceWorks Chicago searches for exceptional dancers to be part of its second season!

The audition will start with ballet class followed by DWC repertoire, including a section led by Harrison McEldowney, teaching choreography from Blues for Ann, set to songs from the Chess Records label. Audience members are welcome to come and go throughout the afternoon. DWC representatives will be available to answer questions about what's happening on stage. Have fun, deepen your understanding, and take away inspiration to fuel your relationship with dance artists and the art form.
