The Nut Tapper is a uniquely spirited annual Christmas
show, an
exhilarating twist on Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic that
uses
percussive dance instead of ballet to tell a tale of
holiday
celebration. The Nut Tapper draws its fascinating rhythms
from multiple
percussive dance traditions including Spanish gypsy
flamenco, Mexican
Zapateado, Appalachian Clog, and, of course, American Tap.
