Content Manger Needed for SeeChicagoDance.com
SeeChicagoDance.com (SCD) is a non-profit audience developmentwebsite that began in September 2005 as part of The Chicago CommunityTrust's Excellence in Dance Initiative. It is the comprehensive sourcefor dance information in the Chicago area including performancelistings, a searchable calendar, discount tickets, weekly discounteBlasts, monthly eNewsletters and more.
SCD is currently accepting applications for the position of ContentManager. The Content Manager works closely with the Vice President,Marketing to manage all functions of the website, maintain the sitewith the highest level of accuracy and ensure that all relevant eventsare represented. The Content Manager's duties include but are notlimited to:
* Maintaining all site listings
* Managing the discount ticket program, in cooperation with TicketWeb
* Selling, invoicing, posting, and maintaining site advertisements
* Writing the monthly eNewsletter
* Managing all three types of SCD eblasts: monthly eNewsletter,weekly discount eBlast, dedicated eBlasts as purchased by companies
* Reporting to funders
The ideal applicant must have excellent organizational skills withattention to detail, strong copy writing and editorial abilities,exceptional computer skills and the ability to manage multipleprojects and deadlines.
